We can’t predict the hand we’re dealt
Nor what the future holds
And thinking of the ways we’ve felt
Leaves us wanting to fold
But one thing that’s neglected, too
Is something called self-love
Embracing everything we do
Placing ourselves above
Nobody else is required
To pat you on the back
Instead know you’re more desired
When cutting yourself slack
The way you see your lovely self
Is all the eyes you need
Because your worth is more than wealth
And soon you will succeed.
