Sitting there at the pier, watching the rays of the sun kiss the surface of the water without a care
Beautiful as if the rainbow was hidden there
My greatest desire to dance as one with the beautiful streams
A hungry wolf I yearn to numb my deep wounds as it always happens in my dreams
But alas! Like a bat from hell am awoken from my trance
Wake up, the voice said, to face the world in me I must take a chance
For no being can truly determine the magnitude of our infinities
Every infinity bequests one with endless possibilities.
My infinities, my demons and strengths in equal measure
How will I wade through and win when I can’t find my deep-rooted pleasure?
The voice, quiet like the grave, left me with my reflection on the water
My eyes hollow as the base of an old willow tree
There is no escape, for my infinity I must face. With stride, pride and courage must I be free!
